I have always tried to partner only with companies I respect, products I believe in, and people I am proud to associate with. A huge thanks to those who have offered their support and their excellent services along the way and are so committed to the sport of triathlon. They have all been instrumental in my success.

Please check out the following companies and feel free to ask me about how they have made me a better athlete and supported the causes I believe in.

Felt

The roots of Felt trace back more than two decades. It all started in the late 1980s when motocross star Johnny O’Mara asked his ace motorcycle mechanic Jim Felt to build him a time trial bike, as he was competing in triathlons to cross train for motocross. Jim, a competitive age-group triathlete himself, had a distinct vision of how he could improve on the designs of the time. It worked. Johnny started winning races, and before long Jim was building bikes for the world’s top triathletes. In 1991 Paula Newby Fraser won the Hawaii Ironman on Felt, and Jim found himself officially in the bike business. Ten years later, it was time to expand. Bill Duehring and Michael Mullmann entered, filling the positions of product development and global ties (Bill) and a successful distribution into Europe (Michael). It was the perfect melding of skills. 2014 promises to be another exceptional year. Don’t expect Felt’s mission to change. Just as it was when Jim Felt started the company years ago, they continue to design, develop, and deliver the best bicycles in the world. Period.

endurance_shield

Endurance Shield

Jarrod Shoemaker and Alicia Kaye are married, professional triathletes who transplanted themselves into the sunny state of Florida in 2010. They were in search of  a sunscreen that worked as hard as they do and could endure their hardest workouts. Together, they developed a sunscreen with great ingredients that was waterproof, sweatproof, moisturizing, safe for sensitive skin, non-comedogenic, and that protected against UVA & UVB. They were amazed by the sunscreen and quickly began expanding Endurance Shield’s other products (lip protectant, chamois creme, and muscle relief & repair).[/note]
